The following are the terms and conditions applicable to access and use of this website (or 'site'). By gaining access to and using this site, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. If you are not agreeable with these Terms of Use, kindly refrain from accessing and using the service provided by MyTickets Registering with and/or the use of the MyTickets services and products, including and without limitation the MyTickets web site, purchase of movie and/or other event tickets, and other similar products or services offered by MyTickets, is indicative that you have read and understood the terms and conditions set forth below and agree to be legally bound by the said terms and conditions.
Permitted Use
The service provided by MyTickets is for personal & non-commercial use. You hereby agree that you will not duplicate, download, publish, modify, distribute and/or use any material included in MyTickets for any purpose unless and otherwise you have obtained prior written permission from MyTickets. You also agree that you will not use the services provided by MyTickets for any purpose other than to subscribe and review the information in MyTickets and purchase movie or event tickets for your personal use. Use of the material and / or content contained in MyTickets for any purpose not set forth in these Terms of Use is strictly prohibited.
Suppliers Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Items
Terms and conditions will apply to individual items or groups of items in your transaction based upon who is supplying those items. The supplier of each item or group of items will be clearly displayed at the time of booking and on your confirmation of purchase documents. Please make sure to read and understand the individual supplier's terms and conditions in addition to these general conditions.
Use of the Website
- You must be at least 16 years old to use MyTickets. By using the website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using MyTickets, including when creating an account or making a purchase.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Ticket Purchases
- All tickets purchased through MyTickets are non-refundable.
- Please note that our online tickets cannot be changed once purchased. This includes changes to the category, show, seat, price, or any other aspects of the ticket. We highly recommend that you carefully review your selection before completing your online purchase to ensure that you have chosen the correct ticket.
- Online tickets are only available for redeeming from one hour before the start of the event until one hour after the event has started. MyTickets will not issue online tickets after this time and cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused. To ensure you have enough time to enjoy the event, please make sure to arrive at the venue on time.
- Only the initial email or SMS provided by MyTickets will be accepted as proof of purchase. Tickets will not be redeemed for any forwarded or screenshots.
- Valid NIC or Passport will be required if needed during the process of redeeming.
- If available, kindly choose the option for ticket delivery for the appropriate event to avoid the line-up at the entrance for redemption.
- MyTickets shall not be held accountable for any inconvenience caused in the organization of the entertainment.
Online Payment
All payments are subject to the terms and conditions of each bank, and we have no authority over any payments made through the bank payment gateway. We do not retain your payment details or any other significant information such as your credit card number, passwords, pin number, etc. Details of your credit / debit card may be securely held by the bank which processes your transaction. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) and Nation Building Tax as applicable.
Cash on Delivery
- Cash on delivery facility will be available island wide.
- A 5% extra charge will be added to the total ticket sale for C.O.D. facility.
- Delivery charges will be added according to the delivery destination.
- MyTickets will deliver your order within 5 working days.
- All charges can be changed without prior notice.
Intellectual Property
- The content, design, and layout of MyTickets are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from MyTickets without prior written consent.
- MyTickets and its logo are trademarks owned by us. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
- MyTickets is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the website.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of MyTickets, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
- We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
- It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of MyTickets after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
